When painting this I had a very pressing need to let go of some anger and frustration. It is a collection of things and people getting in my way at the time. I spent a lot of time ruminating and had certain words and phrases flying through my head constantly. These you will find in the illustration parts, half-finished, as this is how I perceived them in the chaos in my head.
